My name is Lauren…I am an Air Force wife, a mother of a 2 year old little girl, and I wear several hats at Armed Forces Eyewear but focus mainly on getting the word out and making sure that all military members and their families hear about all the benefits we have to offer. I work remotely from my home in beautiful California as my husband is currently stationed at Travis AFB but I am a Texas girl at heart, having been born and raised in San Antonio. My husband and I both attended Texas A&M and he was in the Corp of Cadets Gator 2 outfit…whoop! Currently my hubby is deployed to Al Dhafra AB so I know what it’s like to hold down the fort while he is gone and I plan to share bits about that as well as any resources that are available to help those in my shoes to get through these deployments.
